‘Eid al Adha 1432 Announcement

Based on reports of confirmed sighting of Dhul Hijja crescent in several places across the U.S.A., the Hilal Committee of the Islamic Society of Greater Salt Lake has established that the first day of Dhul Hijja is Friday, October 28.  Accordingly, the Islamic Society has decided that Eid al Adha will be celebrated on Sunday, November 6, Insha-Allah.

Venue: Khadeeja Islamic Center, 1019 West Parkway Avenue (from Redwood Road, head east on Parkway Blvd., which is a little south of 2100 S)
Date: Sunday, November 6
First Session of the prayer: 8.00 A.M. sharp
Second Session of the prayer: 9.30 A.M.

Regarding Eid al Adha 1432 (2011)

Due to the crescent for Shawwal not being sighted  across the U.S.A., the Hilal Committee of the Islamic Society of Greater Salt Lake has established that Eid-ul-Fitr will be on Wednesday, August 31.  The details for the Eid-ul- Fitr prayer are as follows:
