  1. Assalaamu’Alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuhu,
We were confused when we saw this request as we could have sworn the March timings were posted. Apparently somebody removed them when the Spring time change occurred and forgot to update for new timings. Sorry about that, and thanks for reminding us.

    Wassalaam

    • Thank You so much.. This really helped a lot.. May Allah give you Jannah.. Wasalam

      • just in case anyone wanted to view ahead:

April (2010) prayer schedule at our musjid

Fajr: 6:05 (as voted by brothers)
        Zohr: 2:00
        Asr: 6:25
        Magrib: sunset
        Isha: 10:10

        • Assalaamu’Alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuhu,
Is that the same timing for March as well? I’m confused since when do our brothers decide when Fajr prayers should be read? Thank you very much. Wasalam

        • voting is based on the following logic: example, fajr time starts at lets say 4:40 and its end time is 6:30. We are all aware that 4:40 would be difficult. Thus, we ask the brothers that attend regularly as to the time that is most convenient for them to attend salah with jamat (gathering) whilst staying within the prayer time range of acceptability.
salah is not based on voting by men, but it an be based on voting as described above for matters of ease… (no, it is not a guy versus girl thing, nor is it us wanting to eliminate woman from the picture of prayers.) Glad we could help eliminate any or all confusion.
The word ‘voting’ was used to also show our regulars that the time is not dictated or dominated by the imaam or one group of people. It is done with the interest of all. A democratic approach indeed.

      • Fajr: 5:20 (as voted by brothers)
        Zohr: 2:00
        Asr: 6:40
        Magrib: sunset
        Isha: 10:45

  2. Thank You! This is the kind of information that I would find Relevant on the Homepage of http://www.utahmuslims.com. The timings shown there are useful, sure, but they don’t apply to the Masjid, whereas these timings do. Now I won’t go there early and find nobody there!

    JazakAllah Khair!

  3. Assalaamu’Alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuhu,
Apologies for the delay in posting up Masjid iqamah timings for April. My computer was out for repair and the necessary apps were reformatted right out of the computer I (admin #1) use to create the image file.

May Allah keep us all on the path of salaah, ameen.
