dating, love, male with ear rings…

Assalaamu’Alaikum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakatuhu
Ya Imam

I have 3 questions

Question 1) my first question is why does Islam not allow dating
Answer: وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته

Islam does not sanction Zina or anything that remotely resembles it or dating out of marriage. The matter has been covered prior. Kindly go to the following links for clarification.

Question 2) Do we believe in love marriage or only arranged marriage

Answer: One should love the one they are to marry. Kindly go to the following: Once a match has  been found, it can be arranged in the healthy Islamic manner.

Question 3) My finale question is is it permissible for a man to have earrings
Answer: No. Men must resemble men, woman must resemble woman. If due  to illness a man must wear a medically santioned ear ring(s), then religion would allow for it.

Allah Certainly Knows Best.

  1. In response to question 2: if our concept of marriage is correct, that is based on Quraanic and Sunnah values of marriage, then you will come to know that real love mostly only comes as a result of a halaal Nikah. Mostly, what we feel before marriage and when involved in an illicit relationship (before marriage) is lust or desire of the Nafs.

When a mature male and female are in the same frame of mind, I.e. Want to get married to protect their chastity and are prepared to love for Allah’s sake, marrying someone you have only met a few times and perhaps spoken to in the presence of mahrams, marriage for them can be fulfilling, arranged, exciting and halaal. Everything a person would want it to be insha Allah.. As with any marriage there are always ups and downs, but insha Allah, because it was entered into with the right intention, those are quickly sorted out.

(It helps to know that women are usually mostly right and husbands should learn to answer questions and comments with a polite “Yes, Dear…)

  2. (and women should answer wit a polite yes sir…)
